DataShare View Overview

Datashare View is the section of the DataShare Portal where you can view any of the reports generated by DataShare and drill into transactions from these reports, right down to double entry level.

You can access any of the reports from either the Engagements screen in the Datashare Portal admin tab or by using the DataShare Portal "View" tab.

Access Reports from the DataShare Portal View Tab

In the top right hand corner of the screen select the "View" tab

DataShare View will launch and show a blank DataShare View panel. To view a report you must first select a Client by using the "Select SME" drop-down menu.

Access Reports from an Engagement

From within an Engagement simply click the engagement’s name and you will be taken to DataShare View for the Engagement you have selected where you can view all of the reports available.

Once you have launched DataShare View and selected an Engagement to view (regardless of which route you used to open DataShare View) you will be able to simply click on the report you would like to view and it will be displayed on screen.

When viewing any of the reports, you can download the report directly to an excel spreadsheet. To do this, simply click the Download button. This will export the table you are viewing into an Excel spreadsheet and save it to your computer.

Once an upload has been successfully processed, you can access financial reports for your Engagements by clicking the “View Reports” button on the right side of your desired engagement.

This will take you to the “Dashboard Analytics” page. You can now select your desired report from the menu on the left.

When viewing financial reports, you can download the report directly to an excel spreadsheet. To do this, simply click the “Download” button. This will export the table you are viewing into an Excel spreadsheet and save it to your computer.
