Before you can upload data to DataShare you will need to be invited by your Client Manager to join a DataShare Engagement.
You will receive an invitation via email which will include a unique activation link. You need to click on the link to finish the DataShare sign up process.
The standard invitation is shown below:
Step 1. Accepting the email invitation from DataShare
The invitation email can be customized so the example for your invitation may not look exactly the same as the above but it will contain an activation link. You MUST click the activation link to complete the DataShare sign up process.
Step 2. Creating your DataShare account
Enter your Title, check your first name, last name and telephone number are correct and finally choose a password then select 'Activate'.
Passwords must contain: Minimum 8 characters uppercase letters (A through Z), lowercase letters (a through z), base 10 digits (0 through 9), special characters limited to the following: ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * _ - + = ` | ( ) { } [ ]: ; " ' < > , .?
Step 3. Accepting the Terms & Conditions
If the company you are submitting your financial data to has a End User License Agreement (EULA), you will then need to read the EULA and accept the EULA by click on 'Yes, I have read and accept the terms':
You will then be logged into the DataShare Engagement and asked to choose an accounting package that you will be using for your data uploads. You are now signed up to DataShare and ready to upload data!
Step 4. Selecting your Accounting Package and reviewing information
You will then be prompted to choose your accounting package and review the information.
Once you have reviewed the information, select 'Proceed' to start your upload process.
