There are seven types of DataShare user profiles that each have different levels of access to features and functions across the DataShare system.
Depending on your user profile the options you see when you logon to DataShare will change. For example, a Branding Manager will only see the Branding section of the DataShare portal and all other options will be hidden from view.
A summary of the profile types including specific details on the permissions provided is given below.

Summary of Profiles
Client Admin
The profile is the "Master" administrator profile for a Client. This is typically the first user invited to join DataShare for a Client. This profile is able to access all branding, customise notifications and strings, manage users, manage Engagements and view overall usage statistics.
The Client Admin is the only profile that can generate usage reports within DataShare.
Client Manager
The Client Manager profile is ideally suited to users who need full management of all SME engagements and are allowed to view all SME data in DataShare.
A Client Manager can create and manage all Engagements (create, edit, disable, re-enable and delete). A Client Manager can also create new users but once created they cannot edit, disable or delete any user.
A Client Manager has access to all SME data in the DataShare system.
A Client Manager cannot access customisation or branding features, this profile is focused on Client Management only.
Full Engagement Manager
This Profile allows the creation of Engagements and full management of all the Engagements that it has created; Create, edit, disable, re-enable and delete.
A Full Engagement Manager can view all engagements within DataShare regardless of whether they were created by the Full Engagement Manager or not, this includes viewing the SME data for those Engagements.
A Full Engagement Manager cannot create or view users (except for those invited during the creation of an Engagement) and they cannot access customisation or branding features. This profile is focused on the creation and management of all Engagements across the DataShare Client.
Relationship Manager
This Profile allows the creation of new Engagements and the viewing of any Engagement where the Engagement Agent has been added as an Engagement team member.
The Relationship Manager cannot modify an Engagement once created.
The Relationship Manager is able to view all SME data for Engagements that they create or Engagements to which they have been added as a team member.
A Relationship Manager cannot create or view users (except for those invited during the creation of an Engagement) they cannot access customisation or branding features. This profile is focused on the creation and viewing of assigned Engagements only. Advanced administration of Engagements must be performed by a higher level profile.
Engagement Agent
This Profile allows the user to view a list of Engagements in which they have been added to the team as an Engagement Agent. They can view the membership details of the Engagement but cannot modify the Engagement in any way.
The Engagement Agent has no access to any SME data or other areas of DataShare.
Branding Manager
The Branding Manager profile is restricted to modification of all brand/notification/string and Terms (EULA) customisation features.
The Branding Manager has no access to Users, Engagements, or SME data and cannot perform any Client management role.
The Branding Manager is for setting up the visual look and feel of the DataShare Client only.
SME Contact
The SME Contact is an end-user profile for uploading data to DataShare via Datashare Connect. There must be at least one SME Contact on an Engagement.
An SME Contact has no access to any administration features of DataShare and they cannot view SME data.
